Robert Downey Jr Illustration + Comic Mockup

I'm a big fan of Robert Downey Jr as Marvel's Iron Man, and so I decided I'd like to draw him; RDJ's unique facial features and smugness is really quite interesting to look at. The original illustration is over a month of hard work and completely done in chalk and charcoal, a very difficult medium to work with. To make the illustration as applicable as possible, I decided it would work well as a comic book cover; often Marvel will release blank covered variants of their comics for fans to take to comic book conventions and have artists draw on them personally.
